Cancellation Policy

How to cancel your subscription and what happens next

Overview

At TestLo, we believe you should never feel locked in. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and we make the process simple and transparent. This policy explains how cancellations work, what access you retain, and how refunds are handled.

How to Cancel

Via App — Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.
Via Email — Email billing@testlo.in with your registered email and institute name. We will process cancellation within 24 hours.
Via WhatsApp — Message our support number +91 98765 43210 with your registered email and "CANCEL" request.

When Cancellation Takes Effect

Monthly Plans — Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date.
Annual Plans — Cancellation takes effect at the end of your annual term. No access is revoked early.
Immediate Cancellation — If you require immediate cancellation for any reason, contact us and we will process it with applicable refund per our Refund Policy.

Access After Cancellation

During Billing Period — You retain full access to all features until the end of your paid period.
After Billing Period Ends — Your account enters a 30-day read-only grace period. You can export data but cannot add new students, generate quizzes, or accept fee payments.
After Grace Period — Account is archived. All data is retained for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
Data Export — During the grace period, you may export student records, attendance, fee history, and quiz data as CSV/PDF.

Auto-Renewal Cancellation

To prevent auto-renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date. If you cancel within 24 hours of renewal, the new billing cycle may already have started. Contact us immediately and we will evaluate a refund on a case-by-case basis.

Downgrades

You may downgrade your plan (e.g., from Pro to Growth) at any time. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. You will not receive a refund for the difference in the current period. If your current usage exceeds the limits of the lower plan, you will be prompted to reduce usage before the downgrade applies.

Reactivation

You may reactivate a cancelled account within 90 days of cancellation. All your data (students, quizzes, attendance, fees) will be restored. After 90 days, data is deleted and cannot be recovered. Reactivation requires a new subscription payment.

Institute Closure

If you are closing your institute, please export all data before cancelling. Contact us at support@testlo.in and we will assist with bulk data export in a format suitable for your records.
